Art Ceramics Studio is situated on the border of the Jordaan and Oud
West, opposite the Europarking and the Marnixstraat bus station.
Trams 17, 13, 7 and 10 as well as busses 142, 144, 170 and 172 stop nearby.
I set up this studio in 1987 to make my own work and give courses in
ceramics. The positioning of the studio on the 3rd (top) floor of a
former Amsterdam style warehouse makes it a light and pleasant space
and gives it plenty of authentic character. There is enough room for
workshops up to 20 people and courses of a maximum of 10 people.
The pride of the place is a large (320 liters) gas kiln in which the
reduction firings are made.
